A series of typographic posters submitted for the Posters for Haiti Project. The idea behind this is to capture the experience and terror of an earthquake by using vibrating colors and shattering type.
lipstick A print project on product sustainability. I chose lipstick for my product as a point of awareness for cosmetic users. It is believed to be eco-unfriendly, but I have proven that there are ways to solve this issue, instead of killing the beauty of the product entirely. This project consist of two parts: the research and account on why lipstick is an issue (the book) and the redesign (the birth of the new, sustainable lipstick).
Hello, my name is Rika. I have been writing this blog since 2003. That's about 13 years ago. I was pretty active during my earlier years, but I got so busy in completing school, and finally getting a job. I am now settled down, nestled in the comfort of my design job that I've held for 4 years. I was born in Jakarta, grew up in Singapore and understood life in San Francisco. I am a free bird, a lover of all living things and I am hopeless romantic. I express a lot of personal rants here in this blog, so please forgive my language and feel free to indulge or leave.
Carpe Diem,
RK
